Danielle Hartland: Design & Photography

If you got here from rsvpbydanielle.com, you aren’t lost! You’ve come to the right place. Our name has officially switched from “r.s.v.p.designs” to “Danielle Hartland Design & Photography.” You probably noticed the different look, but it’s still the same great work (maybe even better, but we’ll let you be the judge).

Contact me to get the ball rolling! I would be honored to be a part of your special event.

Amy + Josh MARRIED!

I don’t even know what to say about this wedding. I can’t think of words to express how amazing it was to be this close to the action on a day that means so much to people who mean so much to me. Amy and Josh, your love for each other is beautiful. It shows:

I’ve never seen a florist tutorial before, but apparently, it happens. This was a cool moment during his instruction:

As most of us know, the shoe choice was a laborious one. As always, Amy doesn’t disappoint:

I definitely started crying at this point, but I don’t think anyone noticed:

UMMM…favorite? Pretty close. I actually cannot BELIEVE this picture:

Target Ad by Miranda. Awesome:

Paula Holmes, hear this: RENT OUT YOUR PROPERTY FOR WEDDINGS!

The guys were great sports, and I love the results. We breezed through these:

I was going to write something about how the Best Man had the best accessories at the wedding, but then I was like, “No, Danielle, don’t write that. Someone might think you’re making fun of him, even though you’re not.” So, I didn’t.

Hi handsome:

Crying moment #2 for me: Amy wrote Josh a note in a card and Josh wrote her back on the inside of the envelope WITH a stick figure holding a guitar. It was the cutest thing:

This is what I’m talking about:

Josh’s immediate reaction to seeing Amy:

I’d like to draw your attention to Bill and Amy’s hands:

Cute wave, Mr. & Mrs. Monacella:

Grandmas!

Chloe FTW!

Beautiful love = beautiful pictures. The end.

Haha…the bridal party did a good job with this. Some funny reactions here:

Griswold Park: use it.

Hello, gorgeous:

This makes me crack up. Especially the two yahoos on the right:

Welcome to my new favorite spot in Erie:

I think this might be my favorite of the day:

Every couple who gets married by Derek Sanford needs one of these:

Weddings are awesome because everyone who’s married feels like they’re at their own wedding again:

Bridesmaids gone wild:

The bridesmaids’ moms decided to get in on the dancing action. Awesome:

Italians on the dance floor, look out:

I would like to leave you with the best moment of the reception, which was brought to you by…

this awesome woman:

I’m sure Carrie or Amy will tell you all about it. ;-)

Congratulations, guys. It was an amazing day and an incredible wedding. Have fun in Mexico!

For those of you on Facebook, I’ll get an album up ASAP to share and comment on there. There will also be more photos to come on flickr!

Melia + Dave MARRIED!

Just a quick sneak peek from Melia and Dave’s wedding and reception at Capers this past Friday. Every detail was beautiful. Congratulations, Guys!

Jess + Jason MARRIED!

Congratulations, guys! You’re perfect for each other and your love is inspiring. Your day was filled with so much joy…everyone was really happy for you (and it shows in the pictures)! It was an honor to be a part of your wedding. Thanks for choosing me! Here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come:

This reminds me of a Charlie Chaplin portrait. What a cutie:

Jason getting a love note from Jess. He was so excited:

Look at the joy on her face in these next two!

I loved this moment in their ceremony. People were asked to lift a hand of blessing toward them. It was beautiful:

Hi. We’re models. Thanks:

These are two of my favorite:

Now I present, for your viewing pleasure, the coolest wedding party on the planet:

Hey look! A whole cake! Standing all by itself. A miracle. (Someone needs to remind me who the cake person was):

I’ve never seen so many orchids in one place. The flowers for this wedding were stunning:

These guys are too cute. They posed like this right when I turned toward them!

WE ARE!

“Don’t Stop Believing.” Thank you, Journey. Thank you.

And FINALLY, for extra credit: I GOT THEM! I told you guys I could do it!

Feel free to share these with you friends on Facebook here.

For those who didn’t get to see them, here are some samples from Jess & Jason’s engagement session!

Congrats again, guys! You rock.

Jess + Jason ENGAGED!

These two are great. We met at the bayfront in Erie with every intention of having an awesome session. It rained. Big bummer. We decided to brave the elements and find somewhere to shoot that was semi-protected. The weather was disappointing, but they weren’t! Oh, and we found out after the fact that there were tornado WARNINGS in Erie while we were together. Crazy.

Check ‘em out:

Love this one:

I played around with some textures in this one, just to try something different:
